After various things getting in the way, the Defiant is nearly ready for its maiden flight😁

Skinning

The skinning of the fuselage has progressed well. Next up is the wing!

Formers all cut out

The formers are all cut out and seem to fit together with the stringers without any modifications.

Designing my own plan

I have decided to take a bit of a break from my Mitsubishi Zero and tried to design my own plans for a 1/8th scale Bolton Paul Defiant. The British WW2 night fighter with the mid turret.

 

I am using Compufoil to design the wing ribs.
